Every now and then there is a day in the life of a CIO where he comes accross an issue on which he wishes to have a second opinion or alternatively to get to know if there are any alternative ideas. We at CIO forum felt such a need and thereby have sat and mulled over the issue. We felt that the problems of a CIO can be broadly classified into some speacific zones through which a better focus on the subject can held in detail. So much so that the intro page of this site has been made to display such a flavor.
As a beginning the following broad classification has been made. We are sure that all other CIOs feel the same as us to treat every problem as a challenge which open an oppurtunity of net learning. It is earnestly felt that these pages multiply exponentially over the net, into a vast repository of interconnected knowledge base. The subject being modular the order of presentation need not be felt as the order of study.
